Bocce Ball Court Restoration

  • Astoria Park Bocce Ball Court

We are inviting you out for one last volunteer event for 2016.  With the help of some amazing local volunteers,  the bocce court has been renovated this fall.  Everyone's work has gotten us to the point where the Parks Department can install a new playing surface.

On our final work day, we need volunteers to help apply a new coat of paint on the court's walls, remove any remaining excess dirt in and around the court, and fill the drainage ditch with more gravel.  These final tasks will allow us to reach our goal of finishing the project before the winter.

Meet us at the Bocce Ball Court.  Astoria Park Alliance will provide gloves, tools, and training.  Please come in warm clothes and ready to work outdoors.

Please RSVP to getinvolved@astoriaparkalliance.org
